A billion here, a billion there – pretty soon it adds up to real money!

Everett Dirkson pretty much sums up the current financial crisis facing the American Way. Yet there is one thing that he has wrong.  It isn’t “real” money. 700 Billion dollars to the average red, white, and blue, is as relate-able as the lyric: Teddy Pender-grass cooler than Freddie Jackson Sippin a milkshake in a snowstorm’ (Hun)?

The fact is, in this country we have an unlimited supply of greenbacks when to comes to one thing “FEAR”. Yet when it comes to it’s opposites- say Hope, Love, Compassion or Respect, then big ATM machine on Government Street says Funds not Available.

Americans, we –are -what – we- are, we do have big hearts, and for that we should be proud, and Hopeful, and Loving, and Compassionate, and Respectful. If we continue to run away from these truths we hold, but do not display. It will not be Billions of dollars, of which we lose- but Billions of souls.
